KARD is a kpop group composed of two female members and two male members, it’s the first and only mixed gender kpop group if I’m not mistaken. I just found this performance they did a few days ago, and honestly, it’s the first time I’ve ever enjoyed a Blackpink cover. Not due to others lacking talent at all! But the covers usually lack the energy and powerful vibes that Blackpink brings, which ends up making them a bit awkward. But KARD has managed to match them quite well and to make the song their own, so to say. I think they’ve done a great job.
