**Official Statement from BLISSOO’s Legal Representative**
> I am Attorney Eun Hyun-ho of Kim & Chang Law Firm, BLISSOO’s legal representative.
> Regarding the matter concerning the family of an artist affiliated with BLISSOO that has recently been spreading in some media reports, online communities, and social media, we express grave regret over the indiscriminate acts of defamation that link the artist and BLISSOO to the matter or are based on false information.
> First of all, the matters currently being raised are completely unrelated to the artist or BLISSOO, and much of the content being circulated online consists of unverified speculation or clearly false facts.
> The artist began their trainee life at a young age, became independent early on, and has lived apart from their family for a long time, so they are in a situation where they are unable to be aware of or involved in the person’s private life.
> Furthermore, while the artist did receive assistance from family members as limited intermediaries and messengers for consultations with stakeholders during the preparation process for establishing BLISSOO, no family members have ever received compensation from BLISSOO or participated in decision-making from that time until now. Since then, the company has been managed completely independently, without any connection to family members.
> In particular, we clearly state that the claims circulating in some media and online to the effect that “the person in question and the artist joined hands to establish it” or “the person in question is a member of the management or CEO of BLISSOO” are completely false , and that the person in question currently has no legal or managerial relationship with BLISSOO.
> Furthermore, BLISSOO and the artist do not provide any financial or legal support to the person in question, nor do they plan to provide such support in the future. Additionally, they are not engaging in any interaction or involvement regarding this matter.
> Nevertheless, the act of continuously disseminating content that differs from the facts, or consuming and spreading the artist’s name, portrait, or image by associating them with unrelated matters, constitutes a clear infringement of rights and defamation.
> Accordingly, our legal counsel sternly warns that we intend to immediately take all possible civil and criminal legal measures against the following actions.
> • Acts of spreading false information and creating and distributing defamatory posts
• The act of using an artist’s name, portrait, or image for unrelated matters
• The act of publishing speculative content as articles or creating content without verifying the facts
> In particular, we clearly state that we will take a firm stance against malicious or repetitive creators and distributors of posts without any leniency or settlement.
seriously you can choose your friends but not your family
I hope they sue every single person who’s making this horrible case of assault and violence material for fanwars. This behavior is disgusting, disrepectful for the actual victims, more severe than the usual hate stuff, and they deserve to pay for it.
