**Lisa: “I’m Absolutely Not Ashamed to Show My Vulnerable Side”**
Lisa shone with rich brilliance alongside Bulgari. After the glitz and glam died down, I met her in a soft, warm, comfortable afterglow. 
In this special Vogue edition cover shoot, Lisa — representing the “New Woman” of today — displayed a dazzling array of jewelry from Bulgari. She wore pieces like the Divas’ Dream white-gold pendant necklace set with pavé diamonds; a “Serpenti Viper” ring on her index finger and a serpent-inspired bracelet; a B.zero1 ring and bracelet; and a 34 mm Serpenti Seduttori watch with a black lacquer dial and 36 brilliant-cut diamonds. Her coat was by Dries Van Noten.

**You just performed a fiery show in your home country of Thailand as part of BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE world tour. Does the feeling still linger?**
Those were the first three shows of the world tour. I thought it would be exhausting, but the fans’ energy was incredible, and thanks to that passion I was able to power through until the end — even though I did catch a bit of a sore throat. (Laughs) After each concert, the members and I usually share lots of thoughts and reactions on the plane, so the afterglow lasts quite a while.
**Your solo stage outfit inspired by Muay Thai became a big topic.**
For the Asia tour, we’re working with a different stylist than we did for the U.S. and Europe — and the stylist in charge of the Asia leg is Thai. Since I was performing in my “home country,” we wanted something meaningful, and she suggested adding storytelling to the concept. The gold two-piece from the first night symbolizes my first solo song “LALISA,” and the Muay Thai outfit from the second night reflects the “fighter” spirit of my five years training alone in Korea. On the final day, I wore a sequin outfit with a Thai flag embroidered across the back — inspired by athletes waving their national flag after winning a match.
**I saw you at the 30th Busan International Film Festival in September. You’ve appeared on the red carpet in Busan and at the 77th Emmy Awards wearing Bulgari’s Serpenti jewelry. Bulgari seems to highlight a more delicate and elegant side of you.**
Sometimes I wonder, “Is this too glamorous?” But once I actually put it on, it never feels that way — that’s the greatest charm of Bulgari jewelry. At the Emmys, I wore a very bold and extravagant necklace and earrings, but they didn’t feel over-the-top at all.
**In everyday life, you usually style yourself lightly with a simple pendant necklace or a bangle. Do you have a different taste or perspective when it comes to jewelry versus fashion?**
I like styling both clothes and accessories in a clean, simple way. But recently, I’ve gotten into layering necklaces and bracelets — like we tried during this Vogue shoot. I’ve discovered a new kind of beauty in that sort of maximalism.
**You’ve been appearing more often at acting-related events as part of the cast for HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3. You played Mook, the sweet and lovable wellness mentor at the luxurious White Lotus hotel. For a first acting role, you were remarkably immersive.**
Mook is a character with dreams and ambition. At the same time, she’s warm and kind to others. She and I have a lot in common, so it wasn’t difficult to slip into her life. I’m also very grateful to director Mike White — who created an environment that allowed actors to explore freely — and to the other actors who guided me along the way.

**What was it like to set aside the constantly self-reflective identity of a musician and become someone else entirely?**
It was fun! While touring, I visit many hotels, and I always observe how the staff greet me and what gestures they use when speaking. Luckily, this time the character was similar to me, but if I had to play someone from a completely different environment with a very different personality, I think I’d need much more preparation.
**Your latest music-related project was releasing the music video for “Dream” with Kentaro Sakaguchi. Why release the video long after the song came out?**
I always felt that “Dream” absolutely needed a music video, and finally the timing aligned. When the song was first released, I was swamped with Coachella and BLACKPINK’s comeback preparations. Unlike the fierce image of “New Woman (Feat. Rosalía)” or “Rockstar,” “Dream” is soft yet dramatic. I thought it would reveal a new side of me.
**You often collaborate with female artists like Doja Cat, RAYE, Rosalía, Megan Thee Stallion, and Tyla. What do you think makes a successful collaboration?**
It always starts with being a fan. I guess I’m really drawn to girl-crush-energy artists. When I see someone I admire, I keep them in my heart, and once I find the perfect song, I reach out. Everyone has their own professional way of working, so every collaboration has been fun. I remember shooting a music video with Tyla — we had to film in swimsuits in the freezing early morning, and having Tyla there gave me strength. Whenever I hesitated, she’d say, “You can go harder!” boosting my confidence.
**In the entire process surrounding music, when do you feel the greatest joy?**
I’m the type who drops things quickly if I’m not excited from the start. If a song makes my heart flutter when I hear it, I trust that feeling and move forward. If the production process is enjoyable, then planning the styling, shooting the music video — everything becomes fun. Thinking about it, I guess I’m someone who finds joy easily at every step.

**What’s the most satisfying alone-time you’ve had recently?**
After seeing the teaser, I binge-watched Netflix’s Alice in Borderland all the way up to season 3. From the airplane to lying in bed through the night — that’s when I was the happiest. (Laughs)
**Many Blinks say they feel closer to each member this year thanks to your active solo work. What part of yourself do you feel you’ve brought out more than ever?**
Hmm, I’ve always been the same, but if anything was different this year, I put in more effort to communicate with fans. Recently, I cooked on a fan-communication channel, asking things like, “What do I do here?” “What should I do next?” — cooking together like that was so fun. Fans know I’m not good at cooking. I want to share more of that unfiltered side of me. On stage, I always show a polished version. After this interview, I’m heading off to film Halloween content for them.

**Your Instagram vacation photos give so many people energy and inspiration. Are you planning a break at the end of the year too?**
This year, I’ll be spending the end of the year in Thailand. I want to spend time with my family. And honestly, the Korean winter is ridiculously cold. (Laughs)
**BLACKPINK’s new album will be released soon, and the world tour will continue through next year across Asia. It seems like a fulfilling year full of new challenges is coming to an end.**
Just three months until the last concert — not long now! We recently finished filming BLACKPINK’s new music video, and I think we’ll be able to show something truly new. The prerelease track “JUMP” must have already been a fresh shock for many, but the album will be even newer. I’m really curious about the fans’ reactions. I’m confident!
